As Korean music have gained popularity around the
globe and mention of ‘hallyu wave’ increase Korean music labels
increasingly open their own accounts on social network sites to reach
out to their international fans.
Among many Asian music/entertainment agencies it’s been noted SM Entertainment’s official Facebook page has the highest number of ‘likes’ in Asia and second highest in the world.
The Facebook page of SM Entertainment first opened
last June and within seven months were able to reach over 1 million
‘likes.’ If the various artist under SM is added together the number is
expected to surpass 10 million ‘likes.’
SM Entertainment has shared highlights from their
concerts, photos of the artists, teaser videos, as well as various event
and album on their Facebook page.
