Unlike the worries in Korea, Japanese companies were still using Korean idols for their marketing. Many products that used Jang Keun Suk or KARA were at the front of the stores and the photos of 2NE1, INFINITE, 2AM and Girls’ Generation decorated billboards and buildings everywhere. At Tower Records in Shibuya, the ‘K-POP LOVERS’ campaign was still going on. The CDs fromSuper Junior, CNBLUE, T-ARA, FTISLAND and many other Korean records adorned the front of the store. There were even records by many Korean newbies who are not yet famous in Korea. It was clear that their passion had not died down just yet. Via (KpopStarz)
