BoA recently explained why SM Entertainment didn’t take anyone last season. At the SBS “K-Pop Star 2” press conference which happened on Thursday, BoA said, “The rule for Season 1 was that the winner would choose the management company and all the others, the management company could decide to sign them or not. The winner Park Ji Min picked JYP and many other participants had potential but we didn’t pick anyone because we didn’t think they could perform domestically and internationally.” Via (KpopStarz)
